Video everywhere
There is plenty of demand for services which virally distribute video content to as many places on the internet as possible. Hollywood studios are paying big money for a ‘push-one-button’ service which distributes their trailers, viral clips and teaser content to the places where it is most likely to be seen and passed on - all those social networking sites. Now there is a great tool which allows you to do all this yourself with the added benefits of up to date and clear analytics which track views, comments and other metrics to help monitor any campaign. It’s called Tube Mogul and after uploading your video content here it distributes to YouTube, MySpace, Revver and a host of other places with the push of one button. It’s a great way to cheaply run a viral campaign and the graphs are clear and easy to read. The free beta version has been available since late 1996 and a premium service has just been introduced with features including advanced data analytics, social bookmarking, demographic and geographic reporting and support for video files bigger than 100MB. Clients include Next New Networks, CBS Interactive and Vuguru.
