The first massively multiplayer ARG with a charitable slant

As reported on ARGNet, Operation Sleeper Cell officially launched yesterday. It is the brainchild of development team Law37 who with their pitch won the Let’s Change the Game challenge to come up with the best ARG to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The OPC story which takes place over websites, Twitter, blogs and also has a real world element, has a lighthearted comedy spy theme featuring The Agency who’s recruits (that’s you), work together to fight the forces of E.V.I.L.
The intention is to have teams of players working together to solve puzzle cells in a grid. Players can make donations to unlock extra cells for everyone and advance the story with all funds raised going to Cancer Research UK. If you are interested definitely go to We are not The Agency site first as it is quite fun and a little less confusing than the Operation Sleeper Cell site is initially (well, I mean I found it a little confusing). There are already a few excited people on the unfiction forums raring to go - I look forward to seeing how things progress in the coming 10 weeks.
If you like a good game put your money where your mouth is and get in there.
