AutoDesk buys Leading Game AI company Kynogon

Kynogon, a private company, is being bought by AutoDesk. Kynogon’s Kynapse ai middleware is used by leading games companies including Blitz, EA, Lionhead Studios, SEGA and THQ. Kynapse is also used for serious gaming by industry and defence. More about it here.
I wonder if maya or 3DS Max will soon offer some in-built ai functionality?
