The iPhone 3G will be available July 11th in Australia via Vodaphone and Optus stores nationwide.
As of this post, no conformation of the Australian pricing has been made by Apple Australia nor Optus or Vodaphone, but Steve Jobs in his keynote stipulated the price will be the same worldwide. If this is confirmed to be correct, the price would be AUS $199.00 for 8 GB and AUS $299.00 for 16 GB.
The 16 GB model also comes in white.
* Please note there is no mention as of yet of what “Plans” Optus and Vodaphone are offering, so it may be better to enquire first.
Apple has posted more details on their website, but it is currently its being bombarded and a bit overwhelmed.
