The courses are flexible and cover both the theory and practice of broadcasting. Training programs use a range of experienced radio professionals from all sectors of the industry, in addition to staff of the Radio Branch. The Branch's Graduate Diploma in Commercial Radio Broadcasting is conducted at AFTRS' facility at North Ryde in Sydney, and its Graduate Certificate in Commercial Radio Programming is conducted by distance education. A Graduate Diploma in Radio Broadcasting - Flexible Delivery is now available. If courses can be judged by the rate of employed graduates, then the radio broadcasting courses at AFTRS would score through the roof - the School has a 95 per cent success rate in jobs.
